LL # 7 of 2020 Waterfront Moratorium[2]
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sagaponack on the
16th day of November, 2020 adopted the following Local Law:
LOCAL LAW NO. 4 OF 2020
A LOCAL LAW ENACTING VILLAGE CODE § 30-15(F)
BE IT ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF SAGAPONACK AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. PURPOSE.
The purpose of this local law is to require the issuance of an updated certificate of occupancy upon any change of ownership.
SECTION 2. AMENDMENT.
§ 30-15(F) is enacted as follows:
F. No building where there has been a change of ownership shall be used or occupied in whole or in part unless and until an updated certificate of occupancy has been issued by the Building Inspector.
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY.
Should any part or provision of this local law be decided by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the local law as a whole nor any part thereof other than the part so decided to be unconstitutional or invalid.
SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This local law shall take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State as provided by law.
