The law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo announced the recipients of its annual Community Service Scholarships. On June 6, 2024 at the Southampton High School Senior Awards Night, the 2024 Scholarship recipients were announced. This year’s recipients are Anthony Glanz and Riley Mitchell, both of Southampton. This is the twenty-third consecutive year that the Firm has awarded scholarships in Southampton as well as East Hampton and Riverhead, and for the last nine years scholarships have been awarded in Mattituck.
Mr. Glanz is a member of the North Sea Junior Fire Department, holding the position of Secretary/Treasurer for two years and Captain during his senior year. Mr. Glanz also volunteers extensively with the Rotary Interact Club.
As Vice President of the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Team, Ms. Mitchell helped raise $2000 for Luv Micheal who helps support adults with autism. Ms. Mitchell is also the President of the Environmental Club. Ms. Mitchell will be attending Stony Brook University in the fall.
The scholarship for each recipient includes a check to help with college expenses.
