The law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo announced the recipients of its Community Service Scholarships. On Thursday night the 2016 Scholarship recipients were announced at the East Hampton High School’s award ceremony. The year’s winners are Abigail Roden and Stephen Kane, both of East Hampton.
Ms. Roden has volunteered extensively with i-tri, the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital and Key Club. She will be attending Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.
Mr. Kane has volunteered through the Century Club, tutoring at JMMES and on a service trip in Tanzania. He will be attending the University of Michigan
For the past sixteen years, the partners of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo, LLP have presented community service scholarships to seniors at local high schools to recognize the students’ contributions to their communities, including East Hampton High School, Southampton High School, Riverhead High School, Mattituck High School, Port Jefferson High School and Bay Shore High School.
