Congratulations Teagan Nine for receiving the 2019 Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo LLP Community Service Scholarship. Karen Hoeg, who is Of Counsel, awarded $750 to Ms. Nine for her outstanding service to the Mattituck community.
Teagan was an excellent peer role model for other students. Outside of the classroom, Teagan was an extremely active student. Teagan participated in many activities such as SADD, the school musicals, and HUGS. Her unwavering commitment to community service exemplified Teagan’s character. Teagan selflessly volunteered her time through the high school branch of the Lion’s Club, the Leo’s Club, by spending countless hours at the Strawberry Festival and wrapping Christmas presents for those in need. As a result of all her hard work, Teagan not only became the president of the Leo’s Club for her senior year, but she was also selected as the 2018 Strawberry Queen.
Teagan’s work ethic and dedication to learning and her community will enable her to succeed in all that she sets out to accomplish.
Congratulations and best of luck, Teagan!
