Bernadette E. Tuthill, a partner with the Firm, received the Leadership Excellence Award from Long Island Business News during its Corporate Citizenship Awards, which took place in a virtual ceremony on September 15. The award is presented to someone who makes outstanding contributions in both their company and in their community.
Ms. Tuthill works in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates Department. Her practice areas include trusts and estate administration, estate planning and taxation, corporate law and elder law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. In addition, she serves as a member and director at large for the North Fork Breast Health Coalition and as a board member and hospital volunteer for the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center.
She also represents Twomey Latham in presenting its Community Service Scholarship Award. The $1,000 scholarship is given to a graduating high school senior who shares the Firm’s focus on the community and charitable service.
