Estate Planning Paralegal

Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo, LLP is located in Riverhead. Established in 1973, we are recognized by Martindale- Hubbell as a preeminent law firm. We have 30 attorneys and 36 staff (17 of which are in the Trusts & Estates Department) working together to create a team atmosphere with low turnover. Our Trusts & Estates Department is well established and planning ranges from simple to sophisticated plans.

Job Description:

Drafting of estate planning documents including Wills, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, and other estate planning documents.
Deed and transfer document preparation.
Funding trusts.
Correspondence with clients.
Coordination with accountants.

Qualifications:

Proven success working in a high-volume environment.
Ability to produce quality work efficiently and accurately.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through.

Professional, positive demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-directed and highly motivated.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Empathetic and compassionate toward our clients in difficult times.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Proficiency in Adobe professional helpful.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
Salary commensurate with experience.
