Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Dunathan was associated with an accounting/consulting firm in New York City where she specialized in the tax planning of high net worth estates, individuals and corporations, and represented several estates before the IRS. Ms. Dunathan was also affiliated with a New York City law firm where she practiced estate planning and handled many commercial and residential real estate transactions. While at St. John’s University she was instrumental in reinitiating the Tax Law Society.

Ms. Dunathan is a member of the Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations. She served as Co-Chair of the Tax Law Committee of the SCBA in 2005.

Ms. Dunathan holds a Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s College and earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 1997.
